Situated at our studio in Peacehaven, East Sussex, we offer you the chance to learn about fusing glass,and turning it into pieces to compliment a
Mosaic
or
You can also turn your glass fusions into Jewellery as we will be introducing you to Dichroic Glass as part of the Course.
Make a dynamic pendant and earring set, and more !
Easy to understand instruction, tips and advice , examples shown, fun and exciting to learn!
Your Weekend workshop is as follows
Saturday is the Fused Glass Class which is tutored by Mark ,
He will discuss all the materials ,the glass,firing time, and offer a suppliers list, There will be a Buffet Lunch, as well as Refreshments throughout the course, with Wine and cake to finish!
Your work will be fired overnight, ready for you when you return on Sunday Morning
There are extra materials you can purchase on the day if you want to add more to your pieces. As well as Tile Nippers, Jewelley findings and tiles to keep you going until you need larger quantities.
The Mosaic Class on SUNDAY
Aimee will be holding the Mosaic Workshop on Sunday, your day will start with Mark showing you what to do with your beautiful Fusions you will have waiting at your place at the table, make jewellery with them, or keep some aside and put into your mosaic later on.
Aimee will demostrate cutting tecniques, hand out a suppliers list, and give her expert knowledge on Mosaics for Indoors or outdoors.
You will make a Small mosaic in ceramic to start you off , and use it later to practise Grouting on .
There will be a few project ideas to choose from , doable in the time available, if not , take the tiles home to complete it , in your own time.
Buffet lunch, and refreshments seved all day, Wine and Cakes to celebrate the end of a Wonderful Weekend of Creativity and Colour !
